rantling What fruitless sighs andrantling by ~ca3lum
Wishful murmurs
Escape my cold, parched lips
Starved of the warmth
Of words uttered by a tongue in no foreign land

on the tyranny of order The heart beatson the tyranny of order by ~ca3lum

Rain The air is heavy with the smell of rainRain by ~Zaphod-Beeblebrox58
You can taste the lightening
And feel the tingle on the your neck.
The ground is parched and begs for rain
As the dim flashes so far away
That the thunder rumbles in the inky black.

And the smoke will burn our eyes
Perhaps the storm will hold the embers back.
There is a bird that sings somewhere
A simple and quiet song
It lives in the charred and acrid soil
And sings of the things to come.
